You can also get to Andaman and Nicobar Islands by sea. The voyage takes almost 70 hours or a little more than that. Ships are available from Kolkata and Chennai. You need to pre-register your name before your journey. But it is not so easy journey as compared to flight especially if you have small kids with you.
